Available Baby Birds

Below is a list of the babies we have available. All babies are close-banded and hand fed only the best hand rearing formula. Your "R&B" baby bird will be accustomed to eating pellets, fresh fruits & vegetables and seeds. We are not "pellet purists" and believe that "variety is indeed the spice of life" when it comes to feeding your baby parrot. Please continue this feeding regimen to keep your bird in good health. "R&B" babies are "abundantly weaned" and raised with lots of "TLC" to ensure a well-socialized avian companion.

Birds were meant for flight and all R&B babies go through a "flight training" of sorts. We have observed baby parrots that are allowed to learn the all important lessons of flight as they wean, mature into more confidant, secure adults. Wing clipping is a process rather than an event and occurs after each baby is fully comfortable with his "wings" as they were meant to be. It is a joy to watch the babies master flight as they fly from perch to perch in our secure nursery and large outdoor flight cage constructed just so the babies can fly freely. Our goal is to produce well-balanced and well-socialized baby parrots that will hopefully become life-long family members.

By purchasing an R&B baby, you help us continue our work in preserving endangered parrot species in captivity. We have three parrot species enrolled in "Conservation Breeding Programs:" Tucuman Amazons, Hispaniolan Amazons & Golden Conures. Proceeds from the placement of companion parrots goes back into the flock and allows us to continue our conservation efforts.

We do not sell un-weaned babies, please do not ask.

A deposit of 25% is required to hold a bird until weaning or shipping details can be finalized. Please make sure that your decision is final, as this deposit is non refundable. Thanks for visiting and enjoy the baby pics.

The above pics are of our outdoor nursery enclosure where the babies spend their time playing and flying during the day. In the evenings, the babies return to the indoor nursery. We are not the best photographers but on this particular day, Triton Cockatoos, Black Headed Caiques, Hispaniolan & White Fronted Amazon babies enjoy "outdoor enrichment."
